A new page pops up allowing you to pick a donation amount or choose your own. Also there is an option to make it a monthly donation or one time donation at the top. Click next one you made a choice.

Why Support Operation Ragnar6?
Operation Ragnar6’s board members have been around the community for a few decades helping other charities while learning what works and what’s not working. Our aim was to fill a need that was missing and take an approach that spoke blunt honesty. Operation Ragnar6 (OR6) provides specialized service dogs to select individuals. Our dogs are next level, opening doors for the handler to go beyond just service dog. OR6 dogs can be search and rescue, explosive detection, tracking, and more. OR6 dogs allow the handler to be part of the community in ways they never imagined. OR6 dogs give the handler pride, hope, companionship, and even a career. OR6 is part of the community in a variety of avenues. We advocate for mental health through education, events, demos, media, and more. OR6 provides a stage for veterans, first responders, therapists, councilors, specialist, to have a voice on our ever growing platforms. OR6 hopes to inspire, give hope, share alternative paths to mental health, and in the end to help reduce suicide in the community.

A Cause to Get Behind- There are 16.8 suicides just in the veteran community. The stats on first responders is unknown at this time. The House and Senate recently passed the (HERO) Act. to fund research to gather information for future prevention. We’re so far behind on this issue CDC has made it a call to action. We can’t fix the 47,000 Suicides in the USA or the 1.4 million attempts but we can make a difference with a few individuals in our community. Our goal is association with Operation Ragnar6 (OR6) is to raise awareness and funding for service dogs, along with other programs in the near future.
One of the ways we plan on helping our community is a series of short interviews with veterans and first responders with service dogs the opportunity to talk about their struggles with trauma. Their stories are like a road map to success for others who may not see as clearly. We’re planning on using Social Media as our platform for this Veterans and First Responders series of min docs/ Interviews. |
