We all walk our own path

Michael Sharifi

Michael has a BA from the University of Utah. Over the years he has managed and supervised  several companies, from million dollar operations in commercial construction, to five-star restaurant development, to marketing and branding exotic cars, racing, film projects and more.

Processing through his own personal struggles with the assistance of his service dog he found a new purpose with working dogs. This gave him a new focus to help others.  Michael now trains service dogs for veterans and first responders. Occasionally he trains up a police K9, or  a personal protection dog. When the need arises he rehabilitates extremely aggressive dogs that are often left on death row and  rejected by other trainers.

His passion for working dogs started with competitive sled dog teams when he was younger, specifically Sepplas, a working line of Siberian Huskies. From Sepplas the interest evolved to Belgian Malinois. The limitless abilities seen in the Malinois breed allowed for evolved training methods. Over the years Michael has helped a variety of trainers reach a new level with their personal dogs and their client’s dogs.

Michael started Ragnar6, a marketing company that brings working dogs and corporate brands together. Created out of demand he opened a dog training business Valhalla K9 Training where most of his business is word of mouth for selective clients. Operation Ragnar6 is Michael’s focus, a needed wake up to our society on  working dogs as a whole. His experience in the dog world has led him to see how working dogs and their breeding and training model the best of the community in a symbiotic relationship with humans.

The Boyz

The boyz include Bjorn and Muddy, both amazing Malinois who run as Operation Ragnar6 posse. They are the sons of Ragnar Bjorn being the eldest son and senior to Muddy by a year. Each one highlighted by excelling at specific skills.

Bjorn took over Ragnar’s position as Michael’s service dog. He has been trained to track, find explosives, and dabbles in the art of strategic engagement.

Muddy is everything a working Malinois was designed to and more. When breeding a working dog the athletic and healthy body and sound mind our the main focuses unlike show or designer dogs. Muddy excels at any task set before him with exceptional speed and power. Still this beast is loving fool.

They are the heart of the program and represent the best of us. This is what Operation Ragnar6 is all about.
