Working Dog DemonstrationsOR6’s demonstrations are an unique representation of the extraordinary abilities of various working dogs. Through a collection of exercises we show how dogs detect odor, how dogs build confidence and dexterity working obstacles, the importance of high level obedience, especially service dogs, and strategic engagement, an effective approach to protection work. These exercises encompass training methods for police K9s, Personal Protection Dogs, Service Dogs, SAR Dogs, and Conservation Dogs.
Our demos provide a reference to what sets working dogs apart from the typical pet. The education OR6 provides on working dogs is both visual and informative. Understanding the dogs and their jobs provides a window of opportunities surrounding working dogs. Dogs can help guide career choices, they can teach tolerance. Training dogs you learn behavioral modifications, and other science based methods. OR6’s objective is to provide new information about working dogs to share with your family and friends. |
